The Brand

Maison Ormès began with things that have always lived quietly within my brother and me. A love for creating, for working with colour and form as a painter, and a strong sense of smell that has been part of who I am for as long as I can remember. I experience the world deeply through the senses, and over time, it felt natural to bring them together - sight, scent, and light - into something tangible.

We have always been drawn to objects that bring calm into a chaotic world. Gentle light, familiar fragrances, and spaces that feel soft and grounding. Candles became our way of expressing this feeling - small, luminous pieces crafted to transform a space and slow the moment.

Maison Ormès is a journey my brother and I are building together. All his life, he has brought love, care, and light into the lives of stray dogs around us - they are not a cause, but family. For over a decade, they have been part of our everyday world. As we begin this chapter together, a sure portion of our revenue goes toward continuing that care, quietly and with intention.

Rooted in thoughtful, artisanal craftsmanship, everything we create is designed to bring luxury, light, and calm into spaces and lives. Our pieces are made to be lived with - objects that invite stillness, warmth, and a sense of ease.
